RAY

Welcome to our READ ALL YEAR LONG project. Check out the insightful reading we are doing as we challenge ourselves to read 1,000 books this year.

Students: Check comments from me on your previous posts before starting a new one. Think about my suggestions and what you can do to improve your next post.

Here are the requirements:

1. Name

2. Title of book

3. Author

4. What is the theme or main idea of your book?

5. Discuss the important parts of the book. Are there important characters, events, or places? Is the book split up into parts or does it have features that help you understand the main idea? Explain.

6. Make a connection between your book and a book a classmate has read. How are your books similar? Maybe both books share the same main idea or a character who is causing trouble. Explain the connections you see.

7. How did this book affect you? Did you learn something about yourself as you read?  Do you think differently about something now that you have read this book? Can you take something you learned from the book and use it in your life? Explain.
