Burning Questions

Why were women not allowed to vote in the first place?

Why, as women, should we care about our right to vote? (For the ladies only.)

What did it take for these suffragists to change the laws about women's rights?

    4. Sara - I think being a woman does come with responsibilities. Just think about what our world would be like today if the suffragists hadn't worked so hard for our rights. Good idea. - Mrs. G

Noora - Make sure you are capitalizing and punctuating. I will not accept anymore work like this from you. Why do you think it takes women a long time to change the world? - Mrs. G

  4. It must have taken a lot of courage and planning to change the the way about women's rights because, you couldn't just ask the president to change a law you have to work hard and prove that your right to get your way.[response to question 3]-Brett

    1. Brett - I loved that you mentioned the amount of planning this must have taken. Proving your idea is good is so hard and takes a lot of time as ALL of us in this classroom know! =)

  5. For the first question i think we weren't allowed to vote because it was the president's choice. Or somebody else's choice.Or maybe people think we might not be great voters. Zaira Samad
